Though it is a problem that 12 UNWRA employees took part in October 7 massacre, and that hundreds more are operatives, the bigger problem is the very existence of UNWRA. Its only purpose is to provide humanitarian aid to “Palestinians.” As such, in Gaza Hamas is able to concentrate all of its attention, efforts and money toward making the entire territory a huge terrorist base against Israel. You see, all of the burden for taking care of the population has been removed from Hamas, which is the government of Gaza. Eliminating UNWRA would put the burden for caring for the god and population on Hamas’s shoulders, and it would result in less resources being devoted toward terrorism. UNWRA is the problem, not the solution in any way.
