Yes, but if you're registered in Texas, you have to contend with yearly vehicle inspections. And tags and insurance are MUCH more expensive. Not so in SD. Don't about FL.

We're fulltimer's and have been registered in SD since 2008. We vote but only in the Federal elections since we're not local.
