DITTO, I too am a PCa survivor—so far—Dx’d in 2007. I suspect the lymph nodes were found to be involved or a metastasis to the bones.
This is exactly why each and every man should have a PSA blood test yearly! At any uptick then have a diagnostic test to see what is happening.

They are saying it is not prostate cancer...so perhaps they are carefully crafting the narrative and what he has is spreading cancer.

Thanks for the info on your personal experience. I was wondering if it could possibly be lymphoma that he was diagnosed with, since the article I read said the prostate was benign. When my youngest son had a double colon resection for cancerous polyps in 2019, they also took out around 80 of his surrounding lymph nodes as a precaution. He went through 6 months of Chemo treatments, and thankfully, has been cancer-free.
