The new shingles vaccine does not use mRNA, which is somewhat reassuring. What would you do if doctors (including second opinions) told you that you had a disease that was 100% fatal without some mRNA drug?

Except for the side effects I have read about with it.
I would spend the rest of my remaining life getting additional opinions...
Lol.
There are enough real world problems to deal with these days. What is the point of such useless speculation?
Make your decision at that time instead of wasting time now on hypotheticals that no one is ever likely to face.
Fortunately with all the geographically displaced persons flooding my area recently possibly I can get exposed to the varicella zoster virus again so my immune system can see it and remember
I thought I was good having avoided mRNAs by taking J&J. Then I discovered all 3 targeted the spike protein. When my partner brought home a bug from his sick grandchild, he and I were sick for over 3 months with very severe coughing. Since, several friends have told me they too and friends and coworkers also had the same symptoms and were quite sick last year. In one family everyone sick was tested for 4 or 5 things including Covid and RSV, and found nothing. We later got the same illness from his grandson again, but were only sick 5 weeks this time. I also had shingles shot in 2021, and flu vax then and in 2022. In Dec. 2022 my blood vitamin D had dropped from OPTIMUM down to INSUFFICIENT. I was tested last week, had been taking 10,000 IU of D for a year and have overshot the normal range, so have dropped to 5,000 IU. What I want to know is whether shingles or flu target a spike protein even if they are not mRNA.
DEI or die? I’ll go with die, I’ve got my three score and ten, every day beyond that is a bonus...
