“Because all Republican voters got ballots for the primary and none got official info for the caucus. A fraction of voters will participate in the lame caucus.”
1. The NV State primary is meaningless because the caucuses allocate the convention delegates for the candidates
2. The NV GOP party doesn’t allow a GOP candidate to participate in BOTH the State primary and the GOP caucuses, but MUST choose one or the other
3. Trump chose to NOT run on the State primary ballot, but instead chose to run in the GOP caucuses, which is the only way to obtain GOP convention delegates
4. Haley chose to run in the State primary, which guarantees that she will receive zero GOP convention delegates from NV, and also risks being beaten by “None of the Above” on the State primary ballot ...
NOT TRUE! Nevada Republicans can and are encouraged to participate in both! It’s part of what makes this all so farcical this year.
of course you didn’t expect Reno to tell the truth about the Nevada primary or caucus, did you? that would be out of character for Reno.....
who claims they know the intricacies of Nevada politics....
Just saw that Haley , Pence and Tim Scott are the ones on the ballot. It seems to me that Haley can’t be helped that much with a win, but she could be hurt a lot if she doesn’t win.
