A senior Hamas terrorist told a Lebanese news outlet, which the allied jihadist group Hezbollah operates, on Thursday that his group would offer “no compromise” on the destruction of Israel, describing the Jewish state as having “no future in the region.”
Osama Hamdan, the top Hamas representative in Lebanon, threatened all who support the existence of Israel, telling Hezbollah’s al-Manar news, “Whoever counts on it or attaches their future to it will lose.”
Hamdan’s comments echo the ideological provisions of the Hamas terrorist charter and statements made since 2023 by officials in Iran, the world’s premier state sponsor of terrorism and a top Hamas financier. The opposition among jihadist groups to Israel existing in peace presents a significant obstacle to the foreign policy of leftist American President Joe Biden, whose officials have been repeating, with increasing frequency and urgency, the need for an alleged “two-state solution” in which a sovereign “Palestine” is established alongside Israel. Those proposing two states have not offered any clarity on who would govern such a state — an issue of particular concern given that Hamas is the government of the “Palestinian” territory of Gaza.

I would suggest purchasing some big island in the South Pacific crawling with venomous snakes so the Palis will feel at home.
That will extend beyond the U.S. election, enough time for Biden (or whatever Dem) to win. Then it will be back to the same "destroy Israel" thing they do.
My best guess...
I am going to suggest you for our next secretary of state.
Every “two state” proposal throughout history has failed for this same reason. Gaza and Hamas must cease to exist. Peace only comes after victory.
It has been refused at least since 1948 - actually well before then. But in 1948 Israel declared independence and fought off the invading Arab armies. In Khartoum in 1967, the Arab League met and issued the “three noes” statement. No peace with Israel, no recognition of Israel, no negotiations with Israel. Several more wars followed.
Now Israel has some peace deals. So some things change. For other people, some things stay the same. Hamas is obviously self destructive, caring more about this old pan-Islamic and Pan-Arabist ideology more than they care about the future of the Palestinian people. They would sacrifice generations today to achieve their ideological goals in the future. Hamas is a dangerous cult.
IF you say you’re sorry, beg forgiveness and renounce terrorism, we will make sure your prison window faces Mecca.
Fortunately, this is exactly what Netanyahu said the other day.
Two state is like shooting a horse with a broken leg
Well, he just set the bar. Israel should now unleash hell on Gaza.
Why is this guy still in fewer than 50 pieces?
I feel badly that I agree, but since they teach their children almost from birth and their schools teach them to hate anything Israel and pretty much Western civilization, what other choice is there? It's their children or ours.
I knew at the time when Israel gave Gaza to the so-called palis, it was a mistake. I was also not surprised when Arafat didn't get 100% of his demands at the Camp David Accords that he immediately called for another intifada and the attacks on Israeli buses, market places, weddings, and such resumed.
I'm hoping that Bibi doesn't let up until Hamas is wiped of this rock. If that occurs, the smart thing would be to annex Gaza back to Israeli territory. Damn world opinion. Next up...Hezbollah and all other Iran controlled proxies.
I've been following this issue for years. I just don't get why the "palis" can't live in peace. They've been given so many chances from various nations and even the worthless United Nations. Hell, Israel even employs them, after having to build a huge wall. I especially don't get why there are so many pro-pali demonstrations around the world right now after the palis started this war.
Think about the fact that the Gaza Strip has miles of prime beach front property. Think of the countless investors who would be there if only they became civilized. Dubai is the perfect example.
They were given a state in 1948. Instead of forming a government and governing they went to war. Been at it ever since
There’s no way any militant Islamist can accept Israel as a state of any size in that part of the world - the material success and the freedom that the state of Israel exhibits provides a continual and stark contrast to the primitive entities that surround it, where the more Islamist the country is, the more backward, poverty-stricken and oppressive it is.
Good guess, but I believe you’re wrong. The palis can’t exist in their hateful tortured minds the existence of Israel. There will never be a “2 state” solution until some Arab nation finally gives them their own desert. Of course, we know how that would work out since Jordan and Egypt tried it and had to kick them the hell out. Nobody wants them because they are a sick hateful people.
Ping
Good observation.
For sure. But Biden will offer them a few billion $$ to just go along with “discussions” through the elections. After the election, he’ll have more “wiggle room”...
I’m pretty sure Netanyahu knows that this is the position of Hamas. He has resisted all calls for the two-state solution. He knows.
Not just Likud, but a large and resolute majority of the Israeli public now reject the supposed two state solution. October 7 has cost Israel its active peacenik contingent. There is no possible formula for peace except victory when the opposing side rejects peace.
