how did we ever survive the “Tipping Point” when miles high thick ice covered parts of the USA and melted and turned into great lakes? Long BEFORE SUV’s and Industries were around?

This is exactly what I have wondered about. There have been numerous ice ages in Earth’s history. Chicago was buried under a mile of ice at one time during an ice age. How did all that ice melt? It melted due to natural cycles which man has no control over.

There are natural cycles that we don’t fully understand and have no control over. Even if we everything that Greta Thunberg told us to do, it would not affect these natural cycles.

I have yet to receive a good explanation of the Medieval Warm Period. That occurred centuries before the internal combustion engine.
