Former Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that former President Donald Trump being elected again posed “a national security risk.”

Christie said, “What poses a national security risk is the possibility that he could be president of the United States again. That’s what poses a national security risk because we need to take him at his word, Kristen. And the fact is that as I’ve said earlier, Donald Trump when he came into office in 2016 was scared. He was afraid to be president. He was afraid of mistakes he would make. He knew he was not ready and so as a result he listened to a lot of very good people around him, General Mattis, General Kelly and others about these issues. In a second term, he would not.”
Why is this guy's opinion relevant?
Answer: He bashes Trump.

Biden campaign co-chair Mitch Landrieu said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that questions about President Joe Biden’s mental fitness would not cause him to “quit” the presidential race.
Anchor Kristen Welker said, “Our NBC news poll found that 76% of voters are concerned about whether the president has the necessary mental and physical health to be president for a second term. What is the plan to convince voters otherwise?”
Landrieu said, “President Trump, just the other night, confused what day of the week it was. He is confused who the leader of North Korea and China are. He’s confused the leaders of Hungary and Turkey, by the way. Speaker Mike Johnson was on the other day and he confused Iraq and Iran. And of course, President Trump doesn’t know the difference between Nancy Pelosi and Nikki Haley.”
Welker said, “How do you respond to Democrats who say they want to see a change at the top of the ticket?”
Landrieu said, “I’m in the process of doing it right now. And demonstrating that the president’s accomplishments have really been second to none, and Joe Biden’s going to get up every day. The one thing Joe Biden is never going to do is — count on this — he is never, ever going to quit. Because that’s not what he’s done his entire life.”
Biden's bungles are a little more than a mix up or two. He rambles, pauses for long moments (because he forgets his words/thoughts), speaks gibberish, goes off on angry tangents. All the hallmarks of senility. Everyday non-partisan people see this and aren't convinced with sycophants' words to the contrary.
Be that as it may, it is to our conservative advantage for them to double-down on keeping him.

Different prosecutors have discretion to come to different conlcsions on bringing charges (or taking before a grand jury ). This means when Trump’s DOJ comes in it/they may choose to file charges which Garland or special prosecutor’s failed to pursue (assuming the statutes of limitation have not run out).
There really is no viable defense available for “selective prosecution”. The counter argument is usually a highway patrolman pulls you over from a stream of speeders and you say well you didn’t pull anyone else over. Trooper then counters with “I couldn’t stop them all.”
For starters I would rather hear from Biden’s Doctor, not his ATTORNEY! LOL But I would not believe Dr. Fauci or Dr. Jill either.
I have seen numerous posts showing body doubles for Joe. different ear lobes, noses, eyes, chins, etc. Plus the black eyes that never blink!!??
Thanks for the corrections and clarifications. I was going off (faulty) memory. I also recall Adm. Poindexter who was a co-defendant with Ollie (who subsequently also “ran” the NRA ☺) . Same traps. Ollie famously proclaimed “I told lies to save lives”. (or words to that effect). He did have a win however while at the Naval Academy he boxed Jim Webb (later Secy of Navy and a Senator) and beat him. [Caveat: War story]
Then Prez Kamala nominates a new VP, confirmable by Congress, and that is the GOP choice for Prez candidate at convention because Kamala wants to spend more time with her family in 2025. She leans more towards Obamas than Clintons so she probably nominates Big Mike (whom media has allowed to survive the big stage without any appreciable negatives - (except serving swill for school lunches) and the fashion magazines have lionized her as the best mom, most elegant and cultured first “lady” of all time.

The Senate voted for cloture on a $95 billion military assistance bill supporting Israel, Ukraine, Taiwan, and continued US military operations in the Red Sea.
The 67-32 vote sets up a final vote by Wednesday, sending the bill to the House. This vote cleared the 60-vote filibuster threshold on the strength of 17 Republican votes.
This bill includes $60 million for Ukraine and $14 billion for Israel, among other expenses. It was originally attached to the disastrous "border security" bill that cratered on Monday.

That's nothing. The Dem's resident crack attorney, Andrew Weissman and his sidekick, say Hurr essentialy declared Biden pure and innocent, even if not well stated. Gotta give it to those lawyers.
