I wish Trump hadn’t said this so soon after Biden’s disasterous press conference since that was the medias main focus since Thursday night. Now they’ve dropped it and focusing on Trump’s comments on NATO.
The United States could have been a big neutral Continent far away from competing powers but our own politicians couldn’t wait for their own opportunity to play Empire Builder. So they added an Income tax to pay for their fancy war machines and the rest has been downhill ever since.
I got an 💡 idea: let’s pay for Europe’s defense so they can provide socialism to their citizens.

Trump did not “encourage Russia to invade” anybody. He simply said that Europe has been living off the US for decades, via NATO, and that they should start paying their way. They are the welfare babies, and the US taxpayer is sick of carrying them.

Many smaller towns had fire departments where you had to pay a fee every year if you wanted them to respond in case you house caught on fire.
If you did not pay and your house caught on fire the department would respond only to make sure the fire did not spread.
