Warmer than normal = global warming
Cooler than normal = global warming
More rain than normal = global warming
More snow than normal = global warming
Normal = global warming
High 60’s to 70’s here in Dallas. It’s weather... it changes.
Who writes this crap?
Mean while, here yesterday, the yellow crocuses bloomed.
On the map, there is a major surge of warm, very wet air up out of the Gulf. On occasion. that surge is met with cold air extending from a northern trough and there is extreme snowfall. It can happen as late as mid March
This has never happened before. Must be due to global heating.
Have they named this storm yet?
OMG, It is supposed to SNOW in New England in February!
Our boss just told us that IF you do not feel comfortable driving in tomorrow that it is OKAY to work from home.
Weather.com is predicting 3-5 at my house in south central NH.
The heaviest snow is supposed to be in central MA. In the Worchester Hills. Wa Wa Wauchuset
Jeez...this means the store will be crowded with old ladies this morning.
I think this might be the first time New England has ever gotten snow! //sarcasm
I guess it’s hitting south of us. We’re only forecast for a couple inches and there’s no watch up for our area.
Thank God.
A snowstorm. Wow. (yawn).
All the rain we have gotten in California over the past month is 100% put down to “climate change” by Newsom and his fawning media - never mind we have tree rings going back 1,000 years that show periods of intense rain - and 100 year droughts are the norm.
I expect my relatives in upstate Pennsylvania will text this week that they’re ready to move to Las Vegas or Phoenix to “get out of the snow” b/c they’re getting older. They’ve been telling me this for at least 10 years now...
“Winter Storm Warning”: “Winter weather alert” with a press agent ... like so very many other weather terms invented to create fear and panic (e.g., “bomb cyclone”; “atmospheric river”; “polar vortex”, etc., etc.)
While normally one to join in on bashing the apocalyptic weather guessers,
I’m currently nursing an injured leg and am not looking forward *at all* to the 9” we’re supposed to be getting in northcentral PA overnight/tomorrow.
< 150’ driveway, 25° slope .. big sigh >
It is called “Winter!”
