America First Legal Lawsuit Against Maricopa County Over Election Illegalities Raises Issues Other Judges Previously Found Had Merit in 2020 Election Cases

America First Legal (AFL) filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against Maricopa County, alleging numerous violations of election law since 2020. Some of the issues raised in the complaint were brought up in similar lawsuits brought around the country challenging irregularities in the 2020 election, where judges found they had merit.

The AFL listed eight issues in its complaint, and mainly asked for declaratory judgment to stop the county from repeating the wrongdoing and comply with law. The first was lack of chain of custody for tens of thousands of ballots, a class 2 misdemeanor. The second was failure to conduct reconciliation as required by law, which refers to comparing the number of votes cast at polling centers to the number of voters who checked in. The third was the failure of the voting center printers, disenfranchising voters. The fourth was the racially discriminatory location of vote centers, disadvantaging Native Americans and whites who lived farther from the locations than others.

The fifth was the use of AI to assist with signature verification, since state law requires human verification. The sixth was the unauthorized cancellation of thousands of voter registrations, as voters discovered their registration had been transferred to other counties when they went to vote. The seventh alleged unlawful curing of ballots, where workers called voters without verifying it was really them. Finally, the complaint cited unstaffed ballot drop boxes, violating Arizona law.

The Democrats and their mocking-bird media, along with the GOP Never-Trumpers who think fraud is okay if used against Trump, want the issues of the 2020 election to go away. "Move on" they say as they insist there is no reason to continue to discuss the election.

I'm glad individuals and groups are continuing to push back against the election fraud. The more sunlight shone on the issue, the less chance we have of a repeat.

Every patriot should be on their knees praying the next election will be tamper-proof, including the selection of our candidate.

The nation is clearly at a tipping point - doubters need only look at the wide-open borders along with the incentives afforded one and all entrants from across the globe.

All completely acceptable in a Communist State.

From what I’ve read, the biggest issue beyond mail-in fraud, was the printed ballots at the predominately red precincts in Maricopa being sized so that they would be misaligned when run through the counters. This allowed democrat adjudicators to change votes, and they did this en-mass, adjudicating stacks of Trump ballots as one instead of reviewing them individually.

We’re beyond the tipping point.

One could make that argument.

IMO, (I am neither an MD or engineer) it is a quiet, slow-motion continuing series of events (unmistakable stress fractures) the final result of which will catch many by genuine surprise.

I’m all for this lawsuit, but what enforcement mechanisms will there be? In 2020 Maricopa willfully violated the law in the seven listed ways (and likely more). If the court finds for the plaintiff, and Maricopa does it again, what happens?

While the damage is great, it seems counterintuitive to think 250 years can be erased in 4. The story of the USA is a work in progress, and you have a significant part it, including the theme, “never give up.”

We were over when Americans “elected” the first (half)black President in 2007, based solely on race.

Everything since then has been cleanup for the left.

Name one real advance for constitutional conservatism since. (Don’t mention Dobbs, the complexion of the country is now so pro-abortion that states will fall one by one.) Small battle victories don’t define the overall leftward drift.

It’s way more than 4 years... Trump wasn’t supposed to win in 2020.hillarys reaction to her loss proves that. did Obama really win twice? How long have they been cheating? I’d say a lot longer than we’ve known about it.

Good points. The state of our country under Trump was nearing improvements that overshadow the lefts campaigns. Some would go back to the establishment of the federal reserve as a tipping point, others FDRs New Deal.

Trumps policy to cut red tape and build the wall were very good.

Sorry. Gotta pause for work.

This. I now consider any election in which a Democrat wins, to be fraud. We all know Chicago has been fraud for a century.

California is now just fraud, and so too do I think there is fraud in New York, Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.

The biggest aspect of fraud is the media-liars manipulating elections with false stories and propaganda.
