The NYPD gleefully enforced lockdowns as well as mask and vaccine mandates. They have earned every beatdown they are getting.

There are quite a few NYPD videos on YouTube, taken by average folks. The older cops look pretty squared away. But most of the younger ones talk and act like they’re mentally challenged.
I guess the NYPD has to take what they can get. Heaven help the city when those older cops retire.
The NYPD could always go back to busting folks for selling Marlboros by the stick.
