The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning to drop its five-day Covid isolation guideline, reports suggest — nearly four years after the pandemic began.
Under new guidelines, the health agency will instead urge people who test positive for the virus to end isolation based on their symptoms.
Those whose symptoms are mild and improving will no longer be urged to stay away from work and school, but those who have a fever or cough in the past 24 hours should stay away from others.
The new recommendation will tell people they should only consider themselves to be OK to return to work and school if they have not had a fever for at least 24 hours and are no longer taking fever-reducing medications.
Mild symptoms of Covid include a cough, fatigue, sore throat and congestion or a runny nose.
The guidelines still need to be signed off by the White House and will then be released in April for public comment — which will last for 30 to 60 days.
Officials will then address any further requests before publishing the final version — a process that could take until this summer.

Like the CDC has ANY cred to where we care about what they say.
[Maybe about 20+ yr. old stuff, but NOTHING of late.]
Impossible, we were told there was no such thing as natural or herd immunity.
They could have done this four years ago and saved many, many lives.
And some of us were “told” that attaining herd immunity would be cruel because people would die in the process...the “vaccine” was our only hope.
How did that work out?
Not to mention improving the quality of life for everyone...especially school children!
What pisses me off is all the people in my circle of work got free time off for the kung-flu.
They were the ones that all got the clot-shot.
I got the exemption and never got that free time off.
And saved our nation, too. THEY DON’T CARE.

Someone posted on here the other day that there are still 60 or 70 colleges in universities in this country that are requiring mandatory covid vaxxes. I think Harvard was one. Ridiculous... and utterly anti-scientific.

I had no idea they were still doing this.
And we would have not pissed away FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS on NOTHING which ignited inflation and ruined countless lives around the country.
