We have no laws against other countries spying on us. Five Eyes is a partnership to let “trusted” countries get access to everything possible in the US to perform all the searches that would be illegal for the CIA and FBI to perform. The FBI and CIA (Homeland Security) then get that information to abuse, as they wish.
Were they only surveilling Trump, or were they illegally spying on other Republican candidates as well?

To this day, few seem to believe the U.S. government conducted multiple covert operations attempting to criminally undermine, compromise and overthrow Trump.
The entire concept of the 5 eyes was to skirt US law against domestic spying which was forbidden to the CIA. The 5 eyes concept that it’s not domestic spying if the Brits or Aussies discover something and inform the CIA about it.
Now it is to the point that the CIA designates American citizen targets for British spies to go after. And these are not terrorists or criminals... they are legitimate political opponents.
This is fully criminal and there needs to be prison terms, and a massive disbanding of the CIA.
It is no different than hiring a hitman to murder someone, then feigning innocence.
