In the photo of the "teenage girl" provided by the Post, the killer looks very much like a long-haired boy/man, with a very square masculine jaw.That is a "girl with a d**k," probably on both hormones and anti-depressants which can promote sui- or homo- cidal ideation in the unbalanced.
And, what better way to unbalance a teenager than to screw around with hormonal balance?
Even my SIL used to refer to her teenage daughters as "hormonally challenged."

Probably.
Estrogen in the wrong amounts is a depressant.
Testosterone has an antidepressant effect.
Which is why the boy taking girl hormones tend to kill and the girls taking boy hormones tend to become more positive. For a while. When the side effects kick in things go south very fast.
