Nonsense, trying to spin this special election in a district that has only voted for a Republican president 1 time in its latest makeup, and that was GWB’s re-election is nonsensical.
This district is not now, nor has it ever been a “Bellweather” for anything.
The GOP put up a complete POS candidate, that candidate got expelled....the odds of a GOP candidate winning the special election after the last guy they ran was so bad he was expelled from congress, was NEXT TO NIL!! Actions have consequences... the GOP of NY should be ashamed of themselves, their incompetence in 2020 ensure this seat was going back in this special election no matter who they nominated... you can’t put up a complete POS, and then think you are going to win the election to replace him.
Had they put up someone just remotely decent, this whole situation would not be happening, but they were to stupid, lazy or both... and so, now they pay the price.
Schumer trying to claim this special election result is an indicator for anything in the national politics is just moronic.
