President Biden renewed his calls for Congress to pass gun violence prevention legislation after Wednesday’s deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl parade.
The shooter in Kansas City, Mo., opened fire during the victory parade and killed at least one person and injured over 20 more, including at least eight children.
“The Super Bowl is the most unifying event in America. Nothing brings more of us together,” Biden said in a statement Wednesday. “And the celebration of a Super Bowl win is a moment that brings a joy that can’t be matched to the winning team and their supporters. For this joy to be turned to tragedy today in Kansas City cuts deep in the American soul.”
“Today’s events should move us, shock us, shame us into acting. What are we waiting for? What else do we need to see? How many more families need to be torn apart?” he added.

Essentially all mass shooting and regular murders are committed by Democrat constituencies.
How about we attack the “gun culture” amongst our urban friends.
Mass shootings suck. But if the gangs stopped shooting each other, that would free up so many resources the inner city economies would take off.
But, I guess its “cool” to shoot someone because they are in your neighborhood or they dated someone you knew.
I say we should encourage more gang shootings, so we can get rid of all of them.
I watched the presser yesterday, which offered almost zero new information. The mayor went on and on and on about gun crime.
UGH, maybe he should start punishing criminals.
Paired with a law that makes having guns in certain zones illegal, and you stopped all crime.
My son Beau was a victim of gun violence.
My other son, Hunter got himself an indictment. If guns had been banned he wouldn’t have been able to do it.
