The judge who presided over a civil business fraud trial against Donald Trump and his company has issued his decision in the case.
Judge Arthur Engoron ordered the former president and the Trump Organization to pay over $364 million in damages, and bars Trump "from serving as an officer or director of any New York corporation or other legal entity in New York for a period of three years."
The judgment is the second this year against Trump after he was hit last month with an $83.3 million verdict in writer E. Jean Carroll's defamation case against him. The former president could also face four criminal trials this year as his presidential campaign barrels toward the November election, with the first set to begin in New York state court on March 25th.
New York Attorney General Letitia James had been seeking $370 million from Trump, his company and its top executives, including his sons Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, alleging "repeated and persistent fraud" that included falsifying business records and financial statements. James had argued those financial statements were at times exaggerated by as much as $2.2 billion.

On paper only. Then it would have been denied. James was using an administrative law, 63(12), no jury, Judge handles ALL. he Judge also said it wouldn’t have helped to request a jury. Look it up and stop being so dense.

so obvious these are ALL politically motivated. This case especially. What this judge claims is a violation of the law, is in reality the very reason wealthy people get INVOLVED in real estate....its a very fluid business..thats why the banks or any other entity involved found there was nothing that harmed them in any way. This is stricty this left wing judge’s interpretation...and it WILL be overturned on appeal. Same with the crazy lady so called “sex assault” claim...Left wing judge wouldn’t allow huge, relevant evidence about that pyscho path to be entered in the case....another that will def win on appeal. The other “NY CASE” from the chimpanzee prosecutor that starts in March is maybe the silliest of em all. NY is simply gone forever...cant imagine being a “upstate” conservative and being stuck living there....
These Judges are setting themselves up politically.
A big win for them to show loyalty to team Dem.

Even though the D.C. courts have ruled that there is no presidential immunity, judges and prosecutors both have absolute immunity for their judicial and prosecutorial decisions.

He’s previously claimed to have 400-some million in cash available. Between this and the Carroll judgment, he would need all of that and more. He or somebody else could post a bond, but they’d be making what amounts to a half billion dollar+ bet that he would win on appeal. I don’t know that anyone else would be willing to step up to do that for him.

All this lawfare is unbelievable. Many in Congress, the DOJ, and in the judicial system are allowing injustice and corruption to flourish. If anyone tries to do the right thing — even a whistleblower — they get slammed with fines, charges, losing their license, losing their job, etc. It’s getting harder and harder to recognize our country.
