Continental Drift

Fani Willis, currently starring as Javert in the Fulton County dinner-theatre production of Les Magarables, took the stand yesterday. It was an arresting turn:

FANI WILLIS: "Where's Belize? What continent? I'm not being funny. I don't know. I've been to Belize with him. I've been to The Bahamas with him. I've been to Aruba with him. Don't embarrass me. I'm not sure what continents those are on." pic.twitter.com/Cs1sGFT5je — Benny Johnson (@bennyjohnson) February 15, 2024

Well, you can't really blame someone in Georgia for not knowing the Bahamas are in Antarctica. On the other hand, Florida is a contiguous state...

"We didn't go to Florida together," says Fani Willis.

Then immediately adds, "apart from Miami."

Lmao, she's the dumbest. — Raheem. (@RaheemKassam) February 15, 2024

I would have said that District Attorney Willis is the worst witness since ...well, a fortnight ago, when Michael E Mann proved incapable of getting his lost grant funding right to within nine-and-a-half million dollars. Still, that worked out just peachy for Mann, so maybe it will for Ms Willis...

~Speaking of saving the planet, here are some climate activists desecrating the US Constitution, while the officials entrusted with its care stand around doing nothing:

BREAKING: Climate activists just ruined the display of the Constitution in the Rotunda of the National Archives in DC. They poured red powder on themselves and the display.

Security stands around doing nothing for minutes until they finally get arrested. pic.twitter.com/bXggSHgl4T — Libs of TikTok (@libsoftiktok) February 14, 2024

Is she really that stupid? Or is it an act? Or, does she think everyone else is that stupid?

Well, Aruba and the Bahamas aren’t actually “on” any continent. They are islands.

Many (most?) voters aren’t smarter or more knowledgeable than her.

Excellent question. For multiple reasons!

“Belize ... The Bahamas ... Aruba ... I’m not sure what continents those are on.”

A real brainiac. I’m thinking an IQ of circa 79.

The playing stupid tactic and qualifying every word in their answer (i.e., Bradley and Wade’s testimony) is wearing thin on the patience of everyone involved. It leaves observers with the basic realization that Fulton County is magnificently incompetent in hiring quality, educated employees, especially in the DA’s office.

I think the problem (with Fulton County, at least) is that the majority of its voters ONLY CARE ABOUT whether the person is black or not.

Know what’s funny? If she read this she would not even understand it.

“Is she really that stupid?”

Yes, I watched it and she is that stupid.

That would only be South Fulton. The voters in North Fulton who provide the majority of the tax revenue yearn for competent and honest candidates. Alas, the South Fulton voters go solely for skin pigmentation, and then wonder why things are so screwed up.

Again, how did she (a)get into and through law school and (b)pass the bar?!

Pressure from the Feds on law schools to accept a minimum percentage of minorities. As to passing the bar test, I suspect there is also a lot of pressure there too and I wouldn’t be surprised if the bar tests aren’t using more subjective questions, providing a lot of wiggle room in grading.

I would like a forensic review of her bar exam.

There is no way she passed it without cheating.

Zero chance.

Yes, she is that stupid, and so clueless that she couldn’t find her own prodigious *ss with both hands.

Well, Biden has already "called dibs" on the "kindly but senile elderly gentleman"-gambit, so Fani has to improvise with her "stupid as a bag of hammers"-schtick.

I happen to have a copy of the bar examination that Fani took right here:

Question#1: On what continent is the nation of Belize located?

  1. Antarctica
  2. Asia
  3. That question is ray-cist!
