I occasionally attend Hibbs’ church, which is across the Brea Hills, about 15 miles east of here. He is wildly popular. On Sunday mornings, worshippers coming to church cause traffic jams on the local roads.

Hibbs is also socially and politically active, and the Calvary Chapel even does ballot harvesting during election seasons. Voters can bring in their ballots and drop them off at the church.

Isn’t this part of the Calvary Chapel Association?

The church founded by hippies?

If so the Democrats are now the “squares” against the “hippies”.

Fiji Hill, I am a regular part of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills and have been part of that fellowship for 9 years now. I live in La Verne and drive the 18 minutes each Lord's Day to the 8am service.

It is an incredible warm, loving fellowship, and pastor Jack is such a humble one on one pastor!

Even with MANY who are there each week, you feel like you are an individual person when talking with him .

He annointed my husband with oil and prayed for him during my husband last few days....he wasn't " too busy" or unconcerned!! I LOVE the fellowship there.
