I like it.
William Bernstein-The Delusion of Crowds
“ People do not deploy the powerful human intellect to dispassionately analyze the world, but rather to rationalize how the facts conform to their emotionally derived preconceptions. Over the past several decades, psychologists have accumulated experimental data that dissect the human preference of rationalization over rationality. When presented with facts and data that contradict our deeply held beliefs, we generally do not reconsider and alter those beliefs appropriately. [Instead] we avoid contrary facts and data, and when we cannot avoid them, our erroneous assessments will occasionally even harden and, yet more amazingly, make us more likely to proselytize them.”
The 8th amendment ban on excessive fines has been incorporated against the states. A $300 million dollar fine when there is no victim is unconstitutional.
President Trump shouldn't even be forced to liquidate assets to post a bond, as that just exacerbates the already unconstitutional penalty. He should go straight to SCOTUS for relief.

Kathy Hochul’s call for 5.4M Republicans to leave New York is dangerous and disgusting
Boycott New york
Trump should move what he can. But it is kind of hard to move a Hotel.
And there is Tiffany trump.
New York would find him guilty of a felony, of course.
They will also find him guilty of a felony if he DOESN'T do that.
They will also find him guilty of a felony if he quietly sits in a chair.
Nice hypothesis but appeals court just as corrupt as the first one

True... an immediate exodus isn’t possible and in fact would drive property so far down, it would go into negative territory. However, what this does mean is that the process of exodus has started and and the first step of that is ‘no new investment’ including upkeep/upgrade projects on the existing buildings/businesses/infrastructure etc. Dollars that would have been spent in New York will simply get invested elsewhere.
This is the quintessential slow-motion train wreck...
The Jerk Store called, and they’re not going to need any inventory for a few decades, ever since they got that shipment of New York government officials in.

Many of the smart and productive will leave the socialist dominated blue areas; they won’t wait for things to deteriorate. They are successful because they were good at managing risks. The less savvy ones will be left behind.
Not unlike home owners who move out of communities, and employees who leave their companies, when they see unmistakable signs of deterioration. Why wait for things to get worse?
Why is he relocating to Florida? I thought he said Newsom was a better governor than DeSantis, so why not put your money where your mouth is and move to California?
SOOOOOOOOOOOO—IF I UNDERSTAND ALL OF THIS——JAMES IS PUNISHING THE BANKS, ALSO.
