MUNICH (AP) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned allies Saturday that an “artificial deficit” of weapons for his country risks giving Russia breathing space, hours after his military chief said he was withdrawing troops from the eastern city of Avdiivka.
Zelenskyy spoke to the Munich Security Conference, an annual gathering of security and foreign policy officials. Ukraine is back on the defensive against Russia in the nearly 2-year-old war, hindered by low ammunition supplies and a shortage of personnel.

Really, we have no older weapons in storage?
US gave 200 Vietnam era M113's to Ukraine, while having 5,000 in storage. The Iraqi Army received 1,026 M113A2
US gave Ukraine 190 older Bradleys while 2,000 are in storage. Currently the XM30 Mechanized Infantry Combat Vehicle is being developed to replace the Bradley.
US gave Ukraine 31 Abrams tanks, while it has 3,100 in storage.
US gave Ukraine 20 ATACMS, while hundreds of older variants will have to be destroyed due to questions of reliability. The Precision Strike Missile (PrSM) is being currently tested and will replace the ATACMS.

I agree that Trump should visit the front lines - along the Rio Grande river.
I seem to recall a few years ago after yet another donation to his war effort the west warned him to go easy on how fast was using (selling, losing) ammunition and the supply was finite but he keeps on going through it. Then he shows up with his trademark humility and gratitude to demand more.
Which means this courageous Ukrainian leader is traveling in Germany, because being away from the "line of fire" -- or for that matter, line of succession -- is just the Zelensky signature.
One hopes his Hotel Bayerischer Hof services and local restaurant choices are top notch.
One also reads, "The self-weakening of democracy over time undermines our joint results." Martial law, in the moment. Not democracy. Elections are canceled in this time.
Zelensky must be looking to buy a 4th house just to outdo Biden.
Now he can ask Biden who’s your boss now?.
Z is something else- he insults the us over and over, gets rewarded handsomely, insult Trump, and the media fawn all over z -

Macron cancelled a visit to Ukraine last week, because French intelligence agencies had discovered a plot to kill him - by radical Ukrainian nationalists looking to blame Russians and stir chaos.
I suppose they have the same plan for Trump.

Continuing this war will only result in more Ukrainian deaths and more lost territory. There is ZERO chance of Ukraine getting any territory back.
