Funny how that works.

What was the excuse when they lost Mariupol?

What was the excuse when they lost Bakhmute?

They had plenty of bullets and $200 billion of our dollars we printed to give 'em!

And now Avdiivka.

Any port/excuse in a storm or the corollary, don't let a crisis go to waste!

Tables about Soviet and German artillery ammunition production and expenditure:
1) in thousands of shells: https://paul-atrydes.livejournal.com/266975.html
2) in tons: https://paul-atrydes.livejournal.com/267153.html

Not all calibres/gun types are included (especially for the Germans).

Not a single one of those Zeepers knows what they are talking about. The are fed lies to crank those lies out all over the media.

They are enemies of the truth. As are all people who support the awful things Biden is up to like this travesty in Ukraine.

“Within a week of Keller’s meeting in Washington, Chrysler vice president Charles L. Jacobson, tasked with organizing and running the new operation, got an Army Ordnance team to inspect and approve the Evansville plant and a letter of intent for the making of 5,000,000 .45 caliber cartridges a day.

“One week later, Army Ordnance phoned Jacobson and increased the order to 7,500,000 rounds a day.

“Within twenty-four hours Army Ordnance again called and gave Jacobson another change order – increasing production to 10,000,000 rounds a day. Before the month ended, that number had jumped yet again to 12,500,000 rounds. Jacobson had doubts such an order could be fulfilled, but with Keller telling him to make it happen, Jacobson worked out a co-production agreement with Sunbeam, who had a plant near Evansville. On Feb. 18, 1942, Washington’s Birthday, the formal contract with the government was signed. The transformation of the Evansville plant from assembly line to arsenal began the next day.

“Cartridges made at the Evansville arsenal had seven parts, passed through 48 processing operations, and had to survive 334 quality control inspections. On June 30, 1942, the first bullets produced there were test fired. From June 1942 to April 20, 1944 when the contract ended, Chrysler’s Evansville arsenal produced 96 percent of the military’s .45 caliber cartridges: 3,264,281,914 rounds. Rejection rate of cartridges was less then .1 percent of production.

“It also produced almost a half-billion .30 caliber cartridges...”

“Because there was a shortage of rolling mills, rather than copper, most of the cartridges out of Evansville were made out of steel, not brass. New technology and equipment had to be developed to make sure steel cartridges were as reliable as brass ones.”

A shrewd political move by the Biden controllers:

Biden had the authority to change his policy at the border by using executive orders just like he did to reverse Trumps border policy on day one of his administration. That would have released the funding for Ukraine blocked in the house. But the 340 page bill had the poison pill and deal breaker clause of allowing up to 2 million “undocumented immigrants”(Not counting the gotaways) to enter the USA every year.

Instead of getting funding for Ukraine and securing the border by simply changing his policies on the border, Biden gets to have his cake and eat it too. Keep the Biden Border Invasion going full throttle and blame the Republicans for Putin’s rape of Ukraine.

Too bad about Ukraine though.

“Bakhmute”

My guess is about 20 Russians were lost on average per building in the city.

“So Ukraine switched from Commie bloc to NATO ammo ?”

Ukrainian fighters use whatever is available.

When they get NATO stuff, they use NATO stuff.

At this point most of the Soviet caliber stuff is probably made in Ukraine.

“Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) posted on X, referring to the congressional chaos over proposed legislation that includes billions of dollars in additional funding for Ukraine. Suck it up and pass the bill,” he urged his Capitol Hill colleagues”

Dig it out of your own pocket, Brian. And by the way, have you ever received any funds from Ukraine?

The Europe Union has more people than the United States and an economy that is just large or larger, why doesn’t the EU buy them the bullets? If it doesn’t matter to Europe, why should it matter to the US?

if we agreed to split up the $60bn among what’s left of the grunts in the Ukranian military, can wrap this mess up once and for all?

It’s propaganda for propaganda sake.
Note that the Eurozone has so far not ponied up money.
But they’re sending artillery shells contingent on “the funds become available.”

Asking for a friend.

Please tell your friend that the Ukrain’s ammo was sold on the black market. Out of 2.4 billion sent, Ukrain can only account for o.4 billion. All the other stuff went bye-bye. Lots of Ukrainians have very fat pockets.

“About $60 billion in the bill would go to supporting Ukraine as it defends itself from the Russian invasion that began nearly two years ago. There’s nearly $14 billion to allow Ukraine to rearm itself through the purchase of weapons and munitions and another nearly $15 billion for support services such as military training and intelligence sharing.

The support also includes nonmilitary assistance. About $8 billion would go to help Ukraine’s government continue basic operations with a prohibition on money going toward pensions. And there’s about $1.6 billion to help Ukraine’s private sector.

About a third of the money allocated to supporting Ukraine actually will be spent replenishing the U.S. military with the weapons and equipment that are going to Kyiv. Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell has repeatedly emphasized that point, saying in a statement Tuesday that the money is about “reaffirming a commitment to rebuild and modernize our military, restore our credibility, and give the current Commander-in-Chief, as well as the next, more tools to secure our interests.” U.S. News

Most of it isn’t even planned to be used by Uke soldiers. You’ve got tens of billions directly to the MIC to “replenish the U.S. military”, pensions, buying and paying corrupt Uke officials, all the big guys’ cuts, etc. $14 billion to allow the Ukes to rearm, the rest is graft, pay offs and billions in MIC profits. Everyone wants one last cut now that the jig is up.
