Sen. Amy Klobuchar rejected the characterization from special counsel Robert Hur that President Biden is an "elderly man with a poor memory," saying she recently spent "over an hour" talking to him and he was fine.
"I was with the president for over an hour and talked about so many things, domestic, international. He was focused. His recall was good," Klobuchar told NBC's "Meet The Press."
KRISTEN WELKER: Well, let me ask you this. The report described President Biden as a quote, "Elderly man with a poor memory." Do you think the White House should allow the release of the full transcript without claiming executive privilege for the sake of transparency, Senator?
SEN. AMY KLOBUCHAR: You know, that is going to be, again, up to the president and his lawyers. But I've got to comment on this just from my own personal experience. I was on Air Force One with the president, going from Minnesota to Wisconsin for – going from Washington D.C. to Wisconsin for an infrastructure project.
I was with the president for over an hour and talked about so many things, domestic, international. He was focused. His recall was good. It was the same experience that my colleagues had who met with him for hours, Democrats and Republicans, about the Mideast only a few weeks ago.

So, is she implying that Biden faked his dementia for the Special Prosecutor to make sure charges wouldn’t be recommended? Interesting.
It’s not impossible that he was alert and focused for an hour. Whether “his recall was good” depends on what you asked him, doesn’t it? My late father could remember plenty of things about his childhood when he didn’t know who I was.
