Biden admin reportedly doubling down on gas car crackdown

The Biden administration is poised to soon finalize gas-powered car tailpipe emissions standards that consumer advocates and energy industry groups have dubbed a "de facto electric vehicle mandate."

The Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) proposed tailpipe emissions – which were in recent weeks submitted to the White House Office of Management and Budget for final review – are designed to ensure a staggering 67% of new car sales are electric by 2032. Over the weekend, the New York Times and Washington Post reported the White House is set to double down on that lofty goal while loosening earlier targets.

"The President has been clear since 2020 that he intends to use his agencies to eliminate sales of new gas cars," the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers said in a statement following the media reports. "Tinkering with the near-term speed of implementation doesn't change the end game, which is banning new gas-powered cars."

Waiting for the Fed to lower rates for the election.

It will take a bit of time before more inflation kicks in, but by then elections will be over.

If you want a new car this will be the time to buy (especially before the 2026 kill switch mandate).

“banning new gas-powered cars.”

Ain’t gonna happen, no way, no how, no matter what they try.

I demand to know WHERE they get the authority to do this — and similar things!
I belive they have, in fact, no such authority!

When we hear about the tyranny of unelected officials, this is one of the things they refer to.

EPA operating at the direction of a Presidential Executive Order (or simply the EPA acting on its own) is insanity.

And independent of actions by the federal government , some states are planning to ban gasoline-powered vehicles.

California is planning to ban new gas powered vehicle sales in 2035. A few other states have tied their state regulations to California’s.

This is an area where elections can definitely have consequences. I sure hope that Trump or any other Republicans would repeal this nonsense at the federal level.

The statistics industry:

NBER is a think [in the] tank that is proud of its “working papers” that drive the [traveling] studies [shows]:

https://www.nber.org

In that stack of stuff, are some “scholars” who are founders of “global warming.”

The purpose of the statistics industry, is to sustain the cost of the statistics industry, at no cost to the statistics industry.

There is no product, nor reponsibility.

Rather, there are words - in the case of “global warming” - that will create “carbon credits.”

Carbon credits are liberal dispensations for your carbon emissions. The Church of M.I.T. grants you permission to continue, in exchange for your paying dues to The Party.

When The Party broadcasts another edict, that YOU BETTER BUY EV’s or ELSE! . . . that is a notice that The Party wants more money.

For which, you get “carbon credits.”

That tit-for-tat dynamic, was expected to perform like “crypto-currency” - in other words, become a Trading Marketplace for Investors, using terminology that suggested legitimacy.

Dreamed up by the managers of large pools of money, who sought alternative investment frontiers - to exploit.

Biden wears a diaper, which cures his emissions.

So, if I put a diaper on my tailpipe, I’ll be OK?
