Fifty years ago I went to a great large library in a large city I lived in at that time. It was great!

Then the cities did away with vagrancy laws. I walked in on a hot day and the place was full of bums laying around sleeping in all the library chairs and couches. Then a few years later I read the library had to close due to a BEDBUG infestation. I have not been back.
Museums used to also be free. The they also became infested by the bums so the once free museums had to start charging a fee just high enough the bums would not pay it so did not enter.

Most libraries, even here in CaCaLand, steer a very neutral course. Back when Feds tried to get libraries to rat out folks who checked out books on ...... “stuff” the Feds didn’t like, the libraries told them to get stuffed. They simply destroyed the records of who checked out what.

antioch must have tried to “incluuuuuusive”. To the point of having let rabid dogs in.
Glad they went under. I hope the employees never work again.

The beauty of true Romance!

"Romeo, Romeo, where art thou, O Romeo!"

"In Aisle D, dear Juliet!"

Next stop, the Planned Parenthood Center.
