FIRST ON FOX: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is suing a Catholic non-governmental organization operating in the state and wants to have its registration revoked, alleging that it is encouraging illegal immigration and operating a stash house for those entering illegally.

Paxton has sued Annunciation House — a Catholic nonprofit set up in the 1980s — and is seeking to revoke its registration to operate in Texas.

Annunciation House describes itself as a volunteer organization that "offers hospitality to migrants, immigrants, and refugees in El Paso, Texas."

It is a start. Probably one of many reasons the Bushie wing in the Texas legislature tried to get him out of office.

AGs in other states hopefully follow suit.

Good, tired of people hiding behind a white collar using virtue signaling to sin.

No where in the Bible does it say you can violate the law when it does not violate God’s law, in fact we are admonished to live under such laws. Immigration policies of the US do not violate God’s law.

It is better than a start. People need to understand the difference between helping people in need and “enabling” people to do bad or self-destructive things.

There is far to much enabling behavior going on. I have no problem with helping people pull themselves up by their boot straps, but I do had a problem with enablabling bad behavior.

NGOs are termites destroying the foundations of this country.

They need to be fumigated out of existence.

NGO’s?? It’s a start. RICO it all the way up to the Mayors, State/Fed Reps/Senators+ for aid/abet/collud/conspir-ing+ to violate U.S. Law+

Once those in ‘power’ start getting prosecuted, the rest dies on the vine.

https://annunciationhouse.org/press-release/

The Attorney General came to Annunciation House on February 7, 2024 stating that the organization had one day to turn over a broad swath of records to the Attorney General without an explanation. Annunciation House asked a Court to decide what documents the law permits the Attorney General to access. There is nothing illegal about asking a Court to decide a person’s rights.

The AG has now made explicit that its real goal is not records but to shut down the organization. It has stated that it considers it a crime for a Catholic organization to provide shelter to refugees.

Do you mean they (the Catholics) are saying– “it’s about the children“ ?

Not the villains, thugs, drug dealers, warriors, and rapists that we are bringing into the Country.

I guess BINGO is not such a great revenue stream anymore.
