United States citizens and other foreign nationals can now join Ukraine's national guard, the country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, has said, as Kyiv hopes to maintain its forces heading over the threshold of two years of war against Russia.
"Foreigners and stateless persons" can join the Ukrainian national guard as of Wednesday, the Ukrainian leader said in a statement published by the presidential office.
Foreign fighters have been present in Ukraine's ranks since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in February 2022 but often volunteered as part of the International Legion.

I saw an interview this morning of an American volunteer who has been fighting for the Ukes since the beginning. He is not a mercenary as he only draws a private’s pay from Uke military. There is no doubt he believes in the cause. It’s a very eye opening report of what fighting on the front for either side is like. After watching drone footage of both sides being attacked, it reminded me of field mice and hawks. That’s pretty much what he relates. Thank goodness, the U.S. Army isn’t finding out about this new warfare first hand.

Putin got rid of his mercenaries and their leader- we no longer hear from them Wagner clowns once they pushed the envelope in Tiblisi.
The kickback gig is winding down for US clowns and Zelensky’s “govt” paid for by us taxpayers, their pensions the works. Here’s a question- what company holds the funds for the pensions of Ukrainian “civil servants”. Who it that? Huh? Is it AIG? Or some Italian ‘firm’?
