To paraphrase Stalin about the Pope: How many nukes does Greta Thunberg have?
On Thursday's The Lead on CNN, in a segment he entitled "Biden Unfiltered," anchor Jake Tapper reported Biden telling a group of high-rolling San Francisco donors that although Putin is a "crazy SOB, and we always have to be worried about nuclear conflict," the real existential threat is climate change.

Tapper also highlighted Biden saying that he served with a "real racist," Strom Thurmond, but that today's GOP is worse. Not surprising from Biden, given that in 2019, Biden waxed nostalgic about the "civility" he enjoyed with hard-core Democrat segregationists, like Mississippi Sen. James Eastland and Georgia Sen. Herman Talmadge.

His speeches are incredbily divisive.
I would believe that climate change policy is the world’s biggest threat.
Great political instincts there, Joe. I’m sure your comment is going to be real effective with the 50% plus of the electorate who has never heard of Strom Thurmond. Might as well compare Trump to Charles Faulkner (Yeah, I know. Charles Faulkner who?).
This attack works on all republicans.
I really wish someone would just slap him already
Democrat Joe Biden is a drama queen.
William Fuilbright a notorious democrat racist was Bill Clinton’ mentor too... and Biden? He was in with all the horrible democrat racists... from Byrd to Hollings to George Wallace.
At that meeting he was connecting with high rolling San Francisco donors. I’m sure he needs to connect with them and his message was accurately aimed.
Have you seen those beautiful mansions getting ready to or already falling off their beach front elevations? Quite awesome the number and severity of our west coast weather this year. This year’s weather could certainly be the result of all that water vapor blown high into the upper atmosphere by that monster volcano Hunga Tonga (sp?) 2 years ago coming back to earth. Or it could be the El Nino weather pattern, or it could be global warming, or a combo of all 3. But all those floods, landslides, high winds, and heavy snow, week after week has to be getting on their nerves out there.
Worse than Strom Thurmond is still nothing compared to Byrd and Biden.
There has been no actual warming in the United States for the past 20 years.
The US Climate Reference Network record from 2005 shows no obvious warming during this period. The graph above is created monthly by NOAA.
The graph shows the Average Surface Temperature Anomaly for the contiguous United States since 2005. The data comes from the U.S. Climate Reference Network (USCRN) which is a properly sited (away from human influences and infrastructure) and state-of-the-art weather network consisting of 114 stations in the USA.
These station locations were chosen to avoid warm biases from Urban Heat Islands (UHI) effects as well as microsite effects as documented in the 2022 report Corrupted Climate Stations: The Official U.S. Surface Temperature Record Remains Fatally Flawed. Unfortunately, NOAA never reports this data in their monthly or yearly “state of the climate report.” And, mainstream media either is entirely unaware of the existence of this data set or has chosen not to report on this U.S. temperature record.
The national USCRN data, updated monthly as shown in the above graph can be viewed here and clicking on ClimDiv to remove that data display in the graph: https://www.ncei.noaa.gov/access/monitoring/national-temperature-index/time-series/anom-tavg/1/0
24-hour precipitation and temperature data for individual stations can be viewed with graphs, by clicking ‘PLOT’ on the Current Observations page: https://ncei.noaa.gov/access/crn/current-observations"

Good catch!
If you do an image search on Thurmond and Biden you will find quite a few pics of them together. Always chummy.
Given how old most of the pics are I was surprised to find so many.
