Actor Sylvester Stallone will be moving to Florida after decades of living in California with his wife, Jennifer Flavin Stallone.
The pair made the announcement during the second season premiere of their reality television program The Family Stallone on Wednesday. After 25 years of marriage and three daughters, the Stallones nearly divorced in 2022 but have since reconciled and continued living together after their daughters all moved out.
“It’s an empty nest. I need to change it up,” Jennifer Flavin Stallone, 55, explained during the episode.
“We have a lot of roots in California, so it’s not an easy transition to Florida,” Sylvester Stallone, 77, said. “But Jennifer really had her heart set on it. I gave in.”
They join over 340,000 people who moved out of California in 2022 alone, according to a study by the National Association of Realtors. California has also seen a gradual increase in more of its residents moving out than those who have moved in since 2016, according to the National Movers Study. Residents moved out at a 58% rate, with most citing family or employment as the reason behind the move.

We need a wall the length of California to keep the locusts in.
the usual line is
will the last person leaving please turn out the lights
but in this case
the lights will already be out
They're gonna miss his taxes.
California will know things are really bad when the illegals start to move back to Mexico.
You know things are bad in CA when citizens impersonate illegal aliens for those generous benefits.
I won’t miss him.
I had no idea he had a reality show. Who doesn’t have a reality show?
He used to have a place on Fripp Island in South Carolina along with several other celebrities. You’d occasionally see him around Beaufort which was the closest town.
With 99% of them bringing their liberal Democrat friends voting habits with them.
any company or rich person that continues to live or do business in a liberal state deserves what is going to happen to them.
Exactly. It used to be mostly leftists leaving Blue states for Red states to infest them too. In recent years, most have been Leftugees....ie traditional Americans throwing in the towel on trying to save blue crapholes and moving to where they can live among normal people. Here in North Carolina, I’ve run into a ton of New Yorkers and others who want absolutely no part of allowing the plague of Leftism to take over the state they moved to. Barnes and Baris are right - and their knowledge of the demographics is encyclopedic.
I do not understand the moves to Florida....its getting overly crowded already and the heat and humidity....let alone the bugs, snakes, and alligators...
I wouldn't move here, I mean there...
“I do not understand the moves to Florida.”
Ditto. My niece’s ex husband stole the youngest of their children, a boy, in a town near Orlando. Refused to return him after a scheduled weekend visit. The cops seem to be good ol’ boys who side with the men, no matter what. He’s a felon for domestic abuse and has at least one weapon, but cops don’t care.
Two towns are involved — where each of them lives. Same mentally. Kid is 10 and they wouldn’t issue an Amber Alert, and wouldn’t refer to the FBI. They won’t cooperate with the Center For Missing And Exploited Children.
(I saw this occur about 75% of the time when I lived on Maui and worked with battered women. I’ve seen cops laugh at the women.)
The guy can’t see his daughters because of stuff he did that they don’t talk about.
Anyhow, with that mentality, PLUS snakes, bugs, alligators, outrageous insurance rates, and hurricanes, I’d definitely think twice about moving to Florida.
My niece’s ex husband stole the youngest of their children, a boy, …

A husband can not steal his own son. More than likely, the mother was “ awarded” custody, “ legally stolen “ from the husband ( father) by the court system.
Boys raised by the ex-wife quite often turn out to be “ less of a man”. than they could have been.. ..from experience.
True dat.
