Melania Trump spent her four years in the White House in an epic internal battle with her step-daughter Ivanka, met repeatedly with her lawyers about her pre and post-nups, and used her clothing - including that jacket - to speak for her.
The Slovenian-born first lady spent her time in the role 'bucking expectations,' notes Katie Rogers in her forthcoming book 'American Woman: The Transformation of the Modern First Lady, from Hillary Clinton to Jill Biden.'
She was rarely seen in public, gave few interviews and even her signature initiative 'Be Best' left people wondering exactly what it meant (and hoped to accomplish).
And, as Donald Trump runs for a second term, she has refused to campaign with him, leading to speculation she could be a first lady from Palm Beach if he wins the 2024 election.
There was talk from the day Donald Trump was elected there intense, competitive relationship between the two women in his life: his eldest daughter and his wife.
Rogers, a White House reporter for the New York Times, reveals new details about that rivalry, about Melania's time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and what the former first lady may do if she gets four more years.

If it’s in The Daily Mail and it has anything to do with Trump you can assume it is BS.
Renegotiating a pre-nup probably wasn't high on her list of priorities.

Not sure I buy this.
Barron's birthday is March 20 when he turns 18. He should graduate HS at the end of this school term. Presumably he will then go on to college where he will almost certainly want to start living his own life. Hopefully his mom will not follow the young man to wherever he decides to go after HS.
I'm beginning to realize this.
LOL
The media sure can come up with pantloads of the stuff their
dreams are made of.
The only part of this BS that has any validity is the speculation about Melania and Ivanka. I remember when Trump first took office that Ivanka was trying to horn in on the first lady role. It was unseemly. I felt bad for Melania. Then something happened and suddenly Ivanka stepped back.
This is all stale gossip and innuendo. No new news at all.
Guess who the book’s publisher is...
Penguin Random House.
Which is owned by Bertelsmann.
Everyone here remembers Bertelsmann, eh?
From 2001...
From 2017...
cool!
Drama is a leftist thing, Trump is no fool.
“Ivanka seems off the track with that Jared.”
I noticed that in his speech to the Black Conservative group he mentions that Jared is probably a liberal. Interesting.
“her signature initiative ‘Be Best’ left people wondering exactly what it meant”
Really? It’s a simple sentence with small words. If people wonder what “be best” means, I wonder about their brain power.
“sounds like Defamation to me! The Trumps need to sue “
Melania had sued other publications for defamation in the past, and has won. I believe she won every single time.
Right. If there are two, it’s ...ER. If three or more, it’s ...EST.
The Kushners have long relied on Rabbi Haskell Lookstein, a Trump Derangement Syndrome sufferer. He converted Ivanka.
Fortunately, the Kushners became closer to Chabad in DC, presumably because of Ivanka.
