Like Newsom, Whitmer is playing on the sad fact that the failure of public schools to teach the federal government's constitutionally limited powers means the following.
Voters do not understand that the feds do not have the express constitutional power to dictate national policy to murder unborn children, the SCOTUS decision in Roe v. Wade a scandal imo.

It never seems to end. Roe has nothing to do with Trump. It was overturned in 2022 by the SCOTUS, during the Biden administration, and re-established to the states where the feds can’t get at it. So just how stupid is this statement.
