I agree. I live a few miles from there and a couple of my guys and some rope would have been attached to the wrecker cable in 2-3 mins, then the car in the same time frame.
Using the winch, we could have gingerly dragged the car over to the nearest bank. The water would have floated the car to some degree which should make that procedure successful in just a few minutes rather than over an hour.

As for your later points, it has been obvious from the beginning that security camera tapes and blood chemistry analysis would be extremely important.
If there is a tape of her entering the water, as it is suggested, then there might be one showing she was mobile enough to enter the car on her own and not "helped". Blood chemistry will likely reveal whether she was under the influence of any disabling substance. An "autopsy" of the Tesla would also seem indicated in order to reveal any hacking.

Two things.
1. Yes. They went to Taiwan in 1949. They are Chinese not Taiwanese and left Taiwan for the US as soon as possible.
2. After Nixon went to China and Carter opened official diplomatic relations many of these overseas Chinese who fled in 1949 and offspring have become very pro-Chicom.
I agree with you, why would they embrace the same regime they fled from. They rationalize it and making lots of money helps them do that.
People who came here Moore recently who lived under the Chicoms are often more likely to be against the communist regime.
