If the Democratic leadership wants to know who is to blame for Trump's victories, they need only to look in a mirror. Had the Justice Department and state authorities in Georgia and New York not engaged on lawfare against Trump, he would not been considered a martyr. The attacks backfired against Trump big time.

Agreed—the Democratic lawsuits (and I would argue other lawsuits like Alex Jones) put Republicans on notice that the Democrats could go after anyone for anything with lawfare.
By fighting for President Trump they were fighting for their own rights.
No other candidate could even be in that game.
This was not a normal primary.
Republican candidates who thought it was got crushed early and often.
