Oh yeah, poor Russia. Always forced to do truly awful things like invading neighboring countries, seizing their territories, leveling their towns and cities, and slaughtering their citizens.

Poor, poor Russia...we should feel so sorry for it.

If only America had that excuse. That the perceived problem or threat was immediately adjacent to us on our own borders, I mean.

We don't.

We go to a completely different continent when we invade.
