Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Monday on CNN’s “The Source” that House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) told him that he would do “everything to support Ukraine.”
Anchor Kaitlan Collins said, “You said that you have hope that the U.S. Congress will deliver more aid to Ukraine. With all due respect, why do you have that hope? Because there are some members who are very opposed to sending any more aid to Ukraine.
Zelensky said, “I am really thankful with the president and the bipartisan support.”

Well if the Olive God says it, then it MUST be true.
The Ukraine has only lost 31,000 guys in the entire war.
I wouldn’t believe a word out of his mouth unless I saw the exchange and heard it in a live press conference.
It isn’t that I think Johnson isn’t capable of saying that. I just don’t believe a single word that comes out of Zelensky.

And many of the same sources quote Russian loses at nearly 500,000. Call me weird, but I think we’re being manipulated.
I might support them to, if anyone would tell us what our war objective is. It is literally impossible that Ukraine succeed in its stated goal of 100% ejecting Russia from its territory. When you foot the bill you get to have your own war objective. I literally have no idea what our goal is. People of a conspiratorial bent are correct. It’s inexplicable we haven’t articulated a

Even stupid people know that number is not true.
If I was Speaker Johnson I could have offered that sentiment. Of course, what I would have meant is that I’m going to do everything I can to bring about a Western defeat and negotiated end to the war, so that the Ukrainian people could have peace and begin apologizing and mending fences with their much-aggrieved neighbors to the east. That’s the best outcome for the Ukrainian people.

The Biden Administration has restrained Ukraine from a negotiated end or surrender. Implicit to that is the known outcome to such tactics and therefore, the goal. That is, ongoing war, including potential for expansion, greater spending of money, resources and blood.
He sounds desperate, hanging on by his fingernails!
