Conservative98 posted a very interesting article about caring for Alzheimer’s patients - post #7. Article listed many of the difficulties family care givers experience, in caring for them. My grandmother had Alzheimer’s. I worry about inheriting it, but I never considered the experience of my sons, if they take care of me.
I just did a quick internet search on ice cream and dementia and that was one of the first websites found.
Some people think Biden has vascular dementia because he’s had two aneurysms.
Just looking it up there seems to be a number of different types of dementia.

When you’re old (like me), it’s scary.
I’m not sure that is such a good idea-most of the carbs are from sugar-many docs want cancer patients-and cancer survivors-to stay away from sugar because it can cause inflammation-including blood vessels, which is never a good thing. then there is the weight issue, if the person is prone to weight gain-also not a good thing-puttting too much stress on organs.
My mom was a natural food nut, so we had only honey from local bees and some brown unprocessed/raw sugar in the house-we did not eat candy, ice cream or cake-so I never developed a taste for that-I do not like anything sweet-tasting but fresh fruit, even now. Being an all-organic paleo diet person who weighs 105, I don’t have any 1st hand experience, but there is plenty evidence regarding the health risks of consuming refined sugar, high fructose corn syrup, etc...
So am I.....I mean I must have a really bad case of dementia.

I was just telling my son that Biden is more likely to get Alzheimer’s because of his brain aneurysms. Turns out I erred. He’s more likely to get dementia. More likely? He has dementia. An Italian TV show has started a segment where their Biden actor shows how demented he is. The world knows. Nationally, we are in serious trouble. The world also knows Trump will be re-elected soon. My guess is Trump will beat Reagan’s re-election vote totals in 1990 (I’m guessing at the year).
I believe that is correct-anyone at any age who has a serious brain injury of any kind-aneurysm, catastrophic head injury, whatever-is going to lose cognitive ability more rapidly/earlier than someone who has not been injured that way-almost no one recovers completely from a major brain injury...
FJB was apparently never all that intelligent in the 1st place-look at his academic record-barely passed the bar exam-who knows how many times he took it, has always lied about his academic standing-which was really mediocre, at best-has never shown much brainpower in the senate, etc-I really don’t think his IQ was all that high to begin with...

I got down to your post #13 and have so far resisted a dash to the freezer. My wife finished off the last of the Baskin Robbins “Baseball Nut” last night so I’m feeling sad. We do have some Tillamook “Mountain Huckleberry” which is pretty good, but nowhere near as good as “Baseball Nut.”

But I haven’t posted an image in months, and still remembered the tag! Well, almost. But I only goofed once, which is the reason for this second post.
I always goof up at least once, no matter what I do anyway, so I must be okay.

Biden has two tasks of significance:
1. prevent vice president taking office as president.
2. lose general election to DJT.
If he succeeds in these, he can eat all the i.c. he wants.

I don’t know if it’s true or not, but I heard that Alaska has the highest consumption of ice cream, per capita, than any other state. Ice cream is good, no matter where or when, IMO.
