“Hard Right”

The Overton Window on steroids.

Because The Left has gone over the edge, the old center is now Hard Right.

I wrote this on a thread yesterday, and the subject of this thread is an object example of the veracity of my approach:

Funny...(well, not so funny) I have been reading and hearing the thoughts of Leftists and being aware of it for more than half a century, and now, I can look at an article without knowing the author or source, and with a high degree of accuracy, can immediately not only tell if they are a Leftist or Conservative (and now, even a RINO) but can also divine nearly EXACTLY what point they are going to make.

And I can often do it in the first sentence, if not the first few words of that sentence.

It is like in the old days, when you read statements from somewhere (like any Communist country) without knowing where it originated from, you could nail them when they included phrases like “running dog capitalist” and that was easy. But after a while, I was able to discern the political leanings of an author or commentator on the Left in similar fashion.

It isn’t 100% accurate, but damn accurate.

I jokingly (well, not so jokingly) often say that I should thank Leftists for this. I have managed to avoid expending minutes of my life I will never get back, which aggregated, probably adds up to days or weeks of saved time!

Granted, if I had seen this was Newsweek, The New York Times, or Politico, that might have been cheating on my part, but...it was the Arizona Republic, which rang no bells.

But true to their cause, I nailed it in the first sentence: "The MAGA drive to take over Maricopa County kicks into overdrive this week as the hard right..."

And there you have it. Of course, I take pride in getting it in the first few words of that sentence, "The MAGA" which speaking of it in the third person is a reliable indicator. If this were complimentary of or in ideologic concert, it would have started with "MAGA is driving to take over..."
