The Democratic Party's campaign arm dedicated to state legislative races is investing hundreds of thousands of dollars across seven states in an early salvo ahead of November's election, part of its plan to spend a record-setting $60 million to capture statewide power at a time of congressional gridlock.
The targeted states include Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and North Carolina – all also expected to be decisive swing states in the presidential race that will headline the Nov. 5 election.
Minnesota and New Hampshire are also part of the first significant outlays of 2024 by the Democratic Legislative Campaign Committee, which outlined its plans in an announcement seen by Reuters ahead of its release on Wednesday.
The battle for control of state legislatures has drawn more attention from Democrats and Republicans in recent years. With Congress often mired in partisan stalemates, issues such as reproductive rights and ballot access have largely been left to state lawmakers to address.
Abortion, in particular, is now a state-by-state matter after the U.S. Supreme Court's 2022 decision to eliminate a nationwide right to end pregnancies.

I wish people could imagine themselves being placed in death camps, if the big government candidate wins. But liberals think it won’t be they that get the death camp treatment. They will get the socialism and it will be others that are dragged off to never be seen again.
The stage is set. They are going to let Trump win but they’re going to carry both the Senate and the house and will make life and presidential term hell. They will impeach him and then they’ll toss him over to the DC courts and will prison him for life if possibly and if possible his children too. And if you think J6 collusion by the DOJ FBI CIA along with members of the demonic dc swamp was child’s play you haven’t seen nothing yet! THOSE EVIL BASTARDS HATE THE AMERICAN PEOPLE LITERALLY TO DEATH!!
Democrats already control both houses of the Michigan legislature as of the 2022 elections; of course they want more.
Thanks to Democrat gerrymandering, Democrats already control the PA state House (by 1 seat out of 203) and likely will take the state Senate this year. Both are tossups but lean towards the left now due to that gerrymandering; of course they don’t want to take chances and are going to do whatever is necessary (wink, wink) to ensure greater control.
A similar gerrymander to PA is going to happen in Wisconsin and change both houses from solid GOP control (which is not in any way to imply CONSERVATIVE control) to tossups; once again the Rats aren’t likely to fail to rig the game even further if they can get away with it while Ronna McRomney fiddles with her lipstick.
Arizona is the next easy domino to fall, and one day Georgia is going to fall too but that’s going to take longer.
Democrats appear to have little chance of a coup in North Carolina this time around, but they could pick up some seats and might pull off a surprise despite the odds being slightly against them if the election is conducted honestly. NC is thought to tilt a wee bit to the right, but the person in charge of vote-counting is Democrat Elaine Marshall (who will hopefully be voted out this year). The elections in North Carolina from President on down are very likely to be extremely close.
Face it, Democrats are smarter than Republicans. The proof is all around.

No doubt they want to control state legislatures. State legislatures determine the voting rules for federal elections. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure that one out. Mail in and online voting is the key to never-ending socialist majorities.
Two of the GOP Reps in my district won last time by LESS THAN 12 votes after a recount.
She’s resigned. It’s up to the new chair.

The DemocRATS have PLANS and execute them. After 3 years the Repubs STILL have done nothing about election security or done anything to match the vote harvesting and get out the vote efforts of the RATS. No wonder we always lose.
