I don’t really care if my candidate can beat your candidate in pushups, or squat thrusts, or ice cream eating. I kinda do care if he can complete a cogent sentence, walk up a flight of stairs without falling, wander aimlessly after a speech after having tried to shake hands with thin air, take reporters questions from reporters without the question having been pre-arranged and his answers prewriten, or refer to the country’s military headquarters as “you know, the THING!”

With the latter being the most accurate description for Mr. Obama’s domestic partner.

Besides, I doubt Joe could complete more than one push-up and something such as that is never going to happen.

A better and more telling “contest”, and something that could easily be arranged, would be for each to speak off the cuff for an hour while covering several issues currently facing the nation. All this without any note cards or teleprompter. Trump does it at least weekly and often more than once a day. Biden simply cannot do it. He can barely speak for one minute without assistance and even then he makes several ‘flubs’.
