Ok, Trump wins and sues the government for his money back? Would they pay him back? Also would they pay the same high interest rate they charged him in until they pay?

If he posts a bond or collateral, he won’t have to pay the government anything until the appeal is resolved. That’s the whole point.

Now if he decided not to do that and the government enforced the judgment in the interim, and he wins an appeal, I’m not actually sure what the recourse is in that situation.
