Republican Steve Garvey is now in a statistical tie with Democratic Congressman Adam Schiff atop a crowded field of 27 candidates running in next week’s full-term election for U.S. Senate.

Garvey 27%, Schiff 25%, Porter 19%

Garvey is ahead among whites and Hispanics, and well ahead among election day voters.

VERY LARGE sample (N=6,536), Feb 22-27

Garvey has been coming on strong. He's currently projected to lose to Schiff in the fall. But, let's see how this turns out. The Democrats might have to spend considerable resources in California, which will diminish their resources for other states.

ALSO: R's are making big inroads among Hispanics, and smaller, but still meaningful inroads among blacks.

Porter has been unimpressive in debates or speeches. Can’t see how she ever got this far on the political scene.

He’s gotta place in the top two first. PACs have been running negative Garvey ads all day here in So Cal, tying him to Trump.

If he makes the top 2, he’ll have a campaign to run. Schiff has a lot of baggage. How much money did he take from Ed Buck? I mean if you want to run a dirty campaign. You can also mock him for never having any of the evidence he claimed he had about Russia Russia Russia.

Seems pretty hopeless to me... the three Dems are polling a combined 52%, and all three of them are far left-loons. In fact, they’re all fighting over which of them are the farthest to the left. I don’t see Garvey picking up many votes from the supporters of the losing Dem candidate.

Garvey probably would have won had he run in the 1990s. Since then, CA has been overrun with illegals and Libs, while many conservatives have moved.

I hope I am wrong.

This basically advertising FOR Garvey, paid for by Schiff's supporters. Schiff wants Garvey in the runoff.

I live in California and can’t stand Schiff. Can’t imagine a worse person being in the Senate.

A small consolation is it appears he’ll knock out the rabid pro-abort Katie Porter. Top two vote getters move on to the general.

too far away to know Garvey but Schitt (as he is known in his district) is all-too-well-known as a total commie jerkoff.

for Heaven’s sakes please Californians don’t elect Sch... it will have negative impacts on the entire country

If I planned a trip and scheduled a three hour layover at LAX, is that enough time to establish residency and vote in California? Can I use the transit lounge as my place of residence or do I need the address of some local shelter?

Porter is always unimpressive in my opinion but how hard is it to win a few elections as a Democrat in California?

The Republicans have a good chance to pick up Porker’s Congressional seat. How she got elected three times is beyond belief.

California is a solid 60 % D voting block. The Ds don’t bother much with voting fraud because of the sheer numbers.

It will be nice to celebrate the end of Porter’s political career, but the obnoxious Schiff joining the Senate is too depressing for words.
Praying for a miracle for Garvey.

“Ballot harvesting” in 2018 against incumbent Mimi Walters, who led on election night. Plus money, money, money, money, and more money.

In 2022 Porker spent $28 million on her House seat. There are Republican SENATE nominees who did not have that much to work with in 2022 (thanks, Ronna McRomney) but that’s a whole ‘nother story. Still, $28 million for a House seat is beyond astronomical.

There’s not a House district or Senate seat in the U.S. where Democrats can’t outspend Republicans by incredible margins — if they want to. We’re probably going to see more of that phenomenon in 2024 than ever before.

The rats control the entire election process top to bottom, there is 0 chance they will let a Republican take this seat. A 10 point lead for Garvey would not be enough.
