If this is a college poll, I’m surprised it’s this close.
I would expect those numbers in Northern Virginia, but not in the Shenandoah Valley.
I would have liked to seen these numbers with RFK Jr. as a choice. Half of those polled said they would consider voting for a third party candidate. That is a stunning number.

This matches what we are seeing nationwide.

On the other hand, I sure would like to see RFK Jr and the others on our state ballot. If Biden’s margin is only four points in Virginia in the two-way, the election could go either way in a multi-way.

RFK Jr. on the ballot is the perfect setup for a Trump landslide.
The “wrong track” numbers on this poll were over 70%—and getting higher every month.
If the Biden voters had an independent choice they could easily bail. Btw this was one of the weaknesses of the Democrats not having a serious primary. Most Democrats feel like Biden was crammed down their throats in the name of “democracy”.
They should put Haley on the Democratic ticket if they love her so much.

32% democrats 25% republicans in the poll. If that were even, I would have Trump 3 points ahead. Also blue Northern Virginia most respondents. A biased poll for the headline.

If you dig deep into the Republican primary polling numbers about half of the Haley supporters said they preferred Biden.
If the Virginia poll numbers were valid then that would mean that more than half of the Democrats prefer Haley over Biden.
I don’t believe that for one minute.
Unfortunately we cannot have an actual Biden vs Haley primary to find out....
It’s a poll of college students... which is still surprising.
The only prayer the Democrats have, and they know it, is to get Trump convicted of something criminal... they know that is the only polling that shows any shot at Biden being able to win
No, but I do believe the Southwest part of Virginia to be red.

Northern VA is Greater DC. It’s where the swamp lives.
