Lol, to those of us who were born and raised in Texas, she did not drown in a “pond”. Only a city dudes or dudettes would say that. It’s a stock tank and that is what everybody calls it.
That said there are many different kinds of stock tanks. There are big ones, little ones, deep ones, shallow ones, swamp like ones and on and on.
For this to be a “real” accident. She would have to somehow have driven off a cliff and into a deep tank. But, those kind of stock tanks are rare. I don’t see how she innocently drove off into a shallow pond and couldn’t easily have gotten out.
The whole thing is very suspicious but the Blanco County Sheriff’s office is not equipped to handle this. It won’t be long before the Texas Rangers are getting involved. This is what they do. And, I’m sure the FIB’s will get right on it too because it may need an all out cover up the way it looks.

It is possible that it was truly an accident but then Chicoms decided to use it to their advantage such as “It would be a shame if the same thing happened to you” thus implying they did it or that they would be willing to do it to him or his wife.
