And don’t miss this one:

“probably spark a legal battle - just the type of fight the council’s Republicans relish.”

So the democrats/liberals spark all kinds of legal battles but are never called out for “relish(ing)” them? After all, they’re on the right side of history, dontcha know.

Huntington Beach is worth a visit, if California becomes sane.

Huntington Beach is cool. Center of activity is at Main and PCH

Yes it is. My daughter's sister-in-law lives there, on the coast opposite the beach about a block from the main hub of tourist action. Multi-millionaires live there, not just anyone can buy into the area. The sister-in-law and husband regularly remodel their luxury home every few years. Way cool to watch the beach activity from multiple decks.

They don't want liberal ah*les ruining the area as in other paradises in California, where homeless drug addicts are imported into low-income housing forced on the neighborhoods.

Lived in HB for 33 years. Great place to call home.

Can't mention Huntington Beach without The Golden Bear nightclub:

Used to be that all of Orange County was solidly Republican.

“Now the upcoming March election could serve as a referendum on the city’s rightward lurch, with several contentious measures on the ballot, including the flag issue and a proposal that would require voter identification for local contests, which would violate state law and probably spark a legal battle - just the type of fight the council’s Republicans relish.”

It’s an editorial. Trashing voter ID and common sense.
