In 1984 Reagan carried HB by 50%, in 2020 Trump won HB by 3%. And Katie Porker is their Congressman.

I attended a fund raiser for Scott Baugh last fall who ran against her and lost by 3,000 votes. Scott is the former speaker of the California house.

Scott was leading when the polls closed and then (as I recall) 30,000 votes for Porter magically showed up after hours.

There are no longer elections in California or any other blue state.
