After Biden came home from his Caribbean vacation, the Deputy Defense Secretary came back from hers and the Secretary of Defense was on the verge of being released from the hospital, airstrikes were finally authorized against the Houthi Jihadis attacking ships in the Red Sea.
Biden said that the air strikes sent “a clear message that the United States and our partners will not tolerate attacks on our personnel or allow hostile actors to imperil freedom of navigation in one of the world’s most critical commercial routes.”
The message was not very clear since the Houthis then struck a bulk carrier owned by an American company and spent the next two months terrorizing the Red Sea. The Iranian-backed terror group which seized control of much of Yemen due to Obama’s Arab Spring has launched even more devastating attacks on ships and has now reportedly attacked an undersea cable, after previously deploying an undersea drone and warning of further “submarine” attacks..

We’re losing because The Big Guy wants us to lose. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say that The Big Guy’s puppet masters want us to lose.
I suppose that suppressing the Houthis ability to commit piracy on the high seas would be genocide. A couple of battleships pounding everthing within reach ashore used to be the deterrent.
Because the government WANTS them to win.
We could do it handily if given the go ahead.
The Houthis are one of several Iranian cats'paws. Biden, in Obama's third term, doesn't want to degrade Iranian power. The policy is to have Iran take over, after all.

This strategy serves no one except Biden who has sacrificed the nation’s prestige, a major international waterway and the lives of two U.S. Navy SEALS to win an election.

Biden's handlers are sending every bomb and rocket to Ukraine to prop up his gravy train.
The Biden regime is working to destroy the US economy.
It is not about maintaining shipping lanes or preserving democracy abroad.
It is about collapsing the US economy so that a world wide socialist government can be imposed on the world.
If Biden can’t beat back the Houthis, why do you believe he can beat back Russia?
Attacking sea borne vessels with airborne missiles is not piracy. The practice of the Houthi’s is all out war. What should be done is not really an American problem but a problem of the world shippers.
To counter the problem, it must first be determined who precisely is the enemy. Houthi’s are embedded into the national fabric of Yemen and Yemen is not at war with the world. Houthi’s are a riff raff Arab tribe with no resources. The Houthi war materiel is all Iranian.
Iran is thus the enemy and must be assaulted with extreme force. Iranian capability to export must be destroyed. The effort must not be proportional, tit for tat but extreme and lasting. The Iranian surrogate charade must be ended.
Winning wars is so-o-o-o-o-o last century.
The US seems to be losing everywhere. Syria ( US troops getting bombed), Iraq ( Iraqis vote to kick out remaining presence), South and Central America welcoming the Russians, Mexican cartels winning,…everywhere we turn we are seeing failure.
