Marty O’Donnell, the creator of the music for Bungie games like Halo and Destiny, announced he is running for a seat in Congress in Nevada.

O’Donnell lives in Lone Mountain, a neighborhood in Las Vegas, and he will run against incumbent Democrat Susie Lee in November in Nevada’s third congressional district, assuming O’Donnell prevails in the Republican primary in June. O’Donnell has to officially file to run in March.

“America enjoyed a secure border and no inflation in the Trump administration four years ago,” O’Donnell said. “I have voted for President Trump twice and will vote for him a third time this fall. But no matter who is elected this November, if I have the privilege to serve, I plan to work with them. That’s what voters expect and that’s what I’ll do.”

As a Nevada and Clark County resident I’ve observed virtually every election being stolen in the past 12 years.

Of course the Republican party has done nothing about it. A Republican assemblywoman, Sharron Angle, ran against the crook Harry Reid and the Republicans attacked her. The exit polls showed her defeating Reid by 5 points but courtesy of the Dominion voting machines and the SEIU Reid “won” by two points.

And so it’s been ever since.

Best wishes to Mr. O'Donnell!

As an aside, some years ago I attended an outdoor concert of video game music. It was a full orchestra playing. They got to the theme from Halo. You could *feel* the ground resonating with it. Sounded absolutely amazing.

He composed the music for the video game Halo series.

If he plays it up he might attract the male gamer vote.

And yes, we need to get Republicans to stop using Dominion machines NOW.

Questions need to be asked about their reliability and accuracy. Tests need to be run.

“Questions need to be asked...Tests need to be run.”

Or, skip all that and get different machines.

It’s NEVADA, pretty sure you can manage with paper ballots.

Three things I need to have for a videogame to be enjoyable for me:

Good plotline
Good gameplay
And good music.

This guy nailed the musical tone for games like Halo.

Is Marty O Donnell right wing?
O’Donnell is a self-described political conservative, and Bungie coworkers described him as the most right-leaning employee at the company. Despite his extensive work with Bungie, O’Donnell remained co-owner and president of TotalAudio. O’Donnell converted to Catholicism in 2022.
