Nikki Haley is suspending her 2024 presidential campaign, according to ABC News.
She is expected to make the announcement in her home state of South Carolina at 10 a.m. ET Wednesday.
The news comes just hours after the polls close for Super Tuesday, where the former U.N. ambassador scored a surprise victory, upsetting Donald Trump to win Vermont

I know. Head scratching.
She said she wouldn’t run if Trump was running... She should have taken her own advice.
I think that was why she stayed in so long. She’s placing herself for 2028 and can now claim she did the best among the rest of the GOP field by actually winning a state.
Now I hear she won’t “immediately endorse” Trump, so I think she will enter negotiations with Trump’s campaign to get a deal before she does.
Kind of revolting, when you think about. Pure personal ambition.

Instead she ran into a buzzsaw. She chose poorly.

Trump lower level aide: “Stop right there. You don’t get to “want” anything. You get what we decide to give you if we decide to give you anything.”

But what about her smashing victories in DC and Vermont?
Me in 2028: none of the above looks good. And if no one is elected, let the trump train ride on.

With democrats crossing over in Vermont’s open primary and voting for her. And why did Chris Christy get so many votes there?
It was a complete thrubbing everywhere except for syrup sipping Vt.
And frankly, who cares about them? Just keep the syrup coming.
I think she reached max grift. Net income/time spent was about to become not worth her preicous in her own mind time. You don’t think she was in it for the principle do you?
I think the going in assumption has to be that every agency every department every poltician or bureaucrat is craven. It’s the only explanation for how come nothing gets done on even very serious problems.
