A historical all-ladies swimming pond has held a vote to make a decision on whether to be inclusive to transgender women.
Hampstead Health's all-ladies swimming pond has been around for decades and it's remained a popular spot for women looking to cool off.
This week, a committee voted on a policy that would've rejected transgender women. The committee voted against the policy, meaning the pond will be inclusive to transgender swimmers.
The pond, which opened in 1926, is located in North London. It's one of England's biggest open-air swimming spots.
A "large majority" of the pond's members were in favor of being inclusive to transgender swimmers.
“The Ladies’ Pond is a space for women and girls. For some years the KLPA – a user group representing the interests of swimmers at the pond – has been committed to helping create and maintain an inclusive environment for all women, including transgender women,” a spokesperson for the group told PinkNews.
“In line with this policy, all women, including transgender women, are welcome to join the KLPA.”

I wonder how they’ll define transgender. How will they enforce the policy? What if a man claims to be a woman only on M-W-F and the only feminine thing he does is wear a bikini? What possible criteria could they develop that allows for “gender fluidity” but prevents that kind of obvious ruse?

Hopefully the anything-but=woke members of this pool club will learn from the hard lesson they are about to receive. Reality can be a real bitch sometimes.
If they're smart, they'll allow only the crazies who've gone all the way through the process and are now "post-surgical gender reassignment", or whatever the NHS calls it over there.
A "No More Penis" letter from the NHS would probably be a wise requirement as well. Otherwise, the path is clear for non-trans XY males to sue the club and crush what little remains of the "Ladies" identity - as they absolutely should.
